・Nov ’97
・Five mothers and "Meeting for Amerasian Educational Rights" (henceforth "Thinking Meetings. ") was formed.
・Investigation of actual conditions of Amerasian of the school age period of entering school, establishment of the public international school, and an educational right of public help etc. are requested to the administration by Amerasian's mother.
・Jun '98
・Private educational facilities "AmerAsian School In Okinawa" in Ginowan city is founded.
・Borrows one room of a prefectural owned building, and started a free no autorized school.
・School moves to a private house in Ginowan City, Oyama in August of the same year.

・The recovery of the school register recovery is started.

・Jan '99
・School recovery is answered by 8 children from Ginowan City.
・Feb '99
・The Prefectural Assembly recognizes the qualification of the graduation of school students on the assumption of the recovery of the school registry, and ask public help for 6 different items.

Education Minister Arima Akito asks for "International Child's Substantial Security"

・May '99

・The superintendent of education for the prefecture answers the questionnaire reveived the "Thought Meeting" and the possibility that the compulsory education can be conditionally completed as private facilities. The authorization make decisions of power is left to the local board of education.

・Sept '99
・Ginowan City admits school as the first private educational facility in the prefecture,
and the policy for "Special Attendance treatment" of public schools is set.
・The same policy was then accepted by Okinawa City in September of '99 and Urasoe City in
Mar '00.

・Toumon Rickey receives the first graduation recog\nition from Misato Junior High School
・Mar 26 '00
・Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi, who was on island for The Okinawa Summit was requested to review the education system for the reasons of being able to authroize a school to be a public school.

・The Ginowan mayor visits the Department charged with the Okinawa problems Cabinet General Manager, and have a conference that beings public and government support.

・Jul '00
・The Tokyo Bar Association says that children going to school have had their rights of free compulsory education infringed upon. They say it is a serious violation of human rights and are given recommendations for improvements.

The Ginowan mayor visits the department of the charge of the Okinawa problem of Cabinet general manager, and the conference on the public support begins with the country.

・Principal of Korean Amerasian Christian Academy visits Okinawa.
・The country and prefecture decide on support measures.

・The prefecture determines to build an anxuliary school and share it with the City Human Resources Development Center and transfer the students in April.
・Ken Thayer becomes the frist student to pass the public high school general admissions test.

・Visit to the Amerasian Christian Academy in South Korea is visited.

・Amerasian friendship camp takes place in Osaka.

・School moves to new building in Shimashi, Ginowan City.
・Jun '03
・Fifth anniversary of the establishing of the AmerAsian School.
・Completions of school song.

・The problem was discovered that the amerasian school students coulnd not attend the public high schools due to low grades. The school requested evaluation from the public high schools and they will act accordingly.

The 1st AASO festival are held.
Jun '08
10th year anniversary of establishment is reached.
